It is only fair to first tip our hat to the really solid and underrated work that Twenty20 put into their Glue Sniffer line. We were so impressed that we invested three years into isolating exactly both the chemotype and phenotype we came to love in the Glue Sniffer V.1.0 line.
Glue Sniffer was a project to backcross Josie Wales’ famous Gorilla Glue #4, using The Whip! As the initial cross. Twenty20 backcrossed it once, but we felt it needed to be dialed in a bit more, so we picked up where they left off and backcrossed it two more times to our own cut of Josey’s GG #4. Our Glue Sniffer BX3 male brings the best in the GG#4 line with reduced the run-time. A massive resin producer with a 50-day run-time that is an absolute gas giant, and is a hash lovers wet dream!
The Nor-Cal Pineapple Thai IBL, circa 2000′, has been around for what seem like forever. Using the old local Hmong Pineapple Kush line, some bright soul decided it a good idea to cross it with another local favorite, a “wild” Highland Thai IBL (which is also Hmong). This is a Hmong creation and a really, really fine one at that. (The Hmong are some of the finest growers on the planet!) The Nor-Cal Pineapple Thai IBL always ran too long for practical use at our latitude though the plant itself is STELLAR!
The thought occurred to us to work it back to our current project, and see if we could bring the run time back into the fold and add a bit of the tropical fruit to the Glue Sniffer BX3 gas mix without sacrificing its excellent terpene palate and generous yields. The results of this pairing fared better than I thought since it can be hard to bring run-times down in Thais. Still, a 9-week run-time is acceptable compared to the prior 10-11 week run-time.
Best of all the tropical fruit terps proved to be AMAZING! The rest of the plant profile remained largely unchanged with ridiculous resin production and quality flowers as we have come to expect from the Glue Sniffer BX3 progeny. It is hard not to enjoy this plant with its signature daytime, “happy” smoke!
