Jamaican Sunset F2:
This line is a bit of an anomaly for us, using a ridiculously pungent, Nor-Cal cut of Afghani #1 which can run a little longer than we prefer (9-10 weeks). But it was SO different in all ways that we just HAD to use it to create something unique!
We have been working on refining Dying Breeds under-appreciated “Sour Jamaican Lime” for at least four years. Battle proven for producing quality flowers with some amazing lime terp profiles that wanders to hints of green curry with just ridiculous resin production. It was an easy decision to make this pairing with the Afghani. The results were as expected…on point and totally superior!
We wanted to bring that broader terp palate to the “desert flowers” table, so we went back to two outstanding males we found from the original Seed Junky Sunset Sherbet BX1 drop. This pairing was awesome in its own right, matching it with an Afghani/SJL male that was properly stout and pungent as they come. The results were unexpectedly good!
Those crazy Afghani terps carried through as did the rock-hard bud structure from the Sunset Sherbet, but instead of having a heavy Afghani plant structure, or a short, stout Sunset Sherbet plant structure, the line produces elegant plants that stretched to form super chunky buds, like some OGs! The bag appeal is off the chart and the resin production is to die for!
Expect a hashy, sweet and sour, kushy nose with some unbelievable herbal and mint hints. A big hitter that shows its potency without reserve, it is hard not loving this plant. It is certainly unique and must be experienced!
Ideal for outdoor cultivation, it will do very well in a greenhouse environment with trellising. Yields are solid to above average with buds that are a trimmers wet dream! It does take some grow skills to get the full expression from this line, but it is worth the effort!
